Kennedy Health Care Center, located in Sewell, Gloucester County, New Jersey is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing for our 130 bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. The Center is also constructing a 60-bed addition devoted to sub-acute rehabilitation scheduled to open in October of 2010. The facility has a spectacular reputation and an overall 4-star rating by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid services. The Director of Nursing develops and maintains all resident and patient care policies in coordination with the Medical Director and Interdisciplinary Care Team. As part of Kennedy University Hospital, the Director of Nursing also serves as the liaison to the larger Health System. The Center seeks a dynamic person with excellent interpersonal skills to direct all aspects of clinical care and maintain compliance with both Federal and State Nursing home regulations. Candidate should have a proven track record of successful Department of Health Surveys. Qualifications: Must be a graduate of an approved School of Nursing with a current New Jersey State Registered Nurse license. In addition, a minimum of 5 years of full time experience as well as two years in a long-term care center as a Director of Nursing are essential. A New Jersey Nursing Home Administrator license is preferred.
