AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Active Recipients
Congratulations!
The AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program provides a pathway for providers of long-term and post-acute care services to journey toward performance excellence. The program is based on the core values and criteria of the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program.
Member centers may apply for three progressive levels of awards: Bronze—Commitment to Quality, Silver—Achievement in Quality, or Gold—Excellence in Quality. Each level has its own distinct rigors and requirements for quality and performance excellence.

GOLD – Excellence in Quality Award
At the Gold Award level, applicants must show superior performance in areas of the criteria including leadership, strategic planning, and customer and staff satisfaction. By completing the Gold level criteria, organizations take their quality journey to a higher level through the valuable feedback received in the application process and thereby reaching organizational goals. Gold applicants address the Baldrige Excellence Framework in its entirety.
Applicants are required to achieve the Bronze – Commitment to Quality and Silver – Achievement in Quality Awards before applying at the Gold level.
The following member centers have reached the pinnacle of the National Quality Award program by having attained the Gold Quality Award. The final step in the AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program is the Gold – Excellence in Quality Award. Recipients of the Gold Award are considered the best of the best in the profession.

BRONZE – Commitment to Quality Award
The following HCANJ members are active Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award recipients for their dedication to improving the lives of residents through quality care! The award is the first of three distinctions possible through the National Quality Award Program, presented by the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL). The program honors centers across the nation that have demonstrated their commitment to improving quality care for seniors and individuals with disabilities. These facilities may now continue on to apply for the Silver Quality Award.
